Nextel Text Message


To send a message to the Nextel Web site:

1. Click “Send Message” or “Group Messages” in the menu bar at the top of the page.

2. Enter your 10-digit phone number Nextel person or persons to whom you wish to        send a short message.

3. If you accidentally click the “Delete all messages”, you can click the “Save message” and your message will be removed.

4. Fill out the fields “Email Confirmation Field” (optional) if you would like to receive    confirmation of delivery to your email address.

5. If you want the future delivery of the message, click the “Schedule for later” button, select the date and time you would like the message, and then click OK.

6. Click the “Send Message”.

To send a message by e-mail:

1. Using e-mail package that can send messages through the Internet address of the sender’s e-mail message to 10 clients Nextel-digit phone number and then “@ messaging.nextel.com”.

3. Compose a message.

4. Send a message in the usual manner.

To check the delivery status of your message

To send a message from the message center on Nextel.com:

There are three ways to check the delivery status messages sent using Nextel.com message center. Delivery status is available only for messages sent from Web-Nextel. This feature is not available when you send a message by email.

5. To delete a message, click “Remove.”

Using “My phone answers” to quickly and easily from your phone Nextel. If you have Nextel two-way messaging client, you can store up to 9 responses on the network, which you can access from your phone Nextel.

1. Click on “My phone answers.

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Enter up to 9 answers in the answer field. Replies can be up to 100 characters.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click “Save.”

5. If you want to remove all the answers, and to introduce new answers click the “Delete all”.

6. If you accidentally click the “Delete all messages”, you can click the “Save Answers” and retrieve your answers.

Using the “Saved messages” to quickly and easily from your phone Nextel. If you have Nextel two-way messaging client, you can store up to 9 messages in the network, which you can access from your phone Nextel. You must be a registered user to Nextel.com, to use this feature.

1. Click on “My Phone Messages.

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Enter up to 9 messages in those areas to store messages. Messages can contain up to 100 characters.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click “Save message”.

5. If you want to delete all messages and enter a new message, click the “Delete all messages”.
